     This month features the first of two eclipse seasons in 2013 which take place in April/May and October/November. Twice a year, the Sun, Moon and Earth align, interrupting the Sun’s rays from coloring our experience in their usual way as they move through the various signs of the zodiac. When an eclipse happens we have the opportunity to download new feelings and plans of action. These super-potent New Moons and Full Moons indicate important new beginnings and new endings.  Solar Eclipses take place at the time of the New Moon bringing surprising world events and happenings to our lives. Lunar Eclipses take place at the time of the Full Moon bringing intense feelings on both the world stage and to our personal lives. Heightened emotions are a definite part of the mood this month. Prepare to be jolted out of your comfort zone in ways that will both surprise you and cause you to seek deeper meaning in your life.  Last month we experienced the first of a rare series of three eclipses. Typically, there is just one Solar Eclipse and one Lunar Eclipse to an eclipse season. But this year we are experiencing two Lunar Eclipses rather than just one. In April and May this year, the Sun has been in particularly precise alignment with the South Node of the Moon. The South Node of the moon connotes feelings and beliefs from the past that are holding us back from evolution into a new way of life. Thus these three eclipses are exerting extra pressure upon us to release deeply entrenched patterns in our lives both publicly and personally.
